At Château de Lalacelle in Normandy, Terry and Ashley are reinstating their centuries-old formal gardens, but with a kilometre of irrigation to lay, eight huge flower beds to create and over 450 tonnes of gravel to shift, this is gardening on a chateau scale. Meanwhile, it's supposed to be moving-in day for Nick and Nicole at Château des Vieilles Vignes in the Dordogne. But after two years of backbreaking hard work, are they finally ready to settle in?
