the program is called mytv. if you automatically download episodes into
folders named after the said show, the program will detect what show it is
automatically and detect show, season, and episode information. if you use
sites like eztv you should check it out! http://mytv.senseitweb.com

i certainly wouldn't use vista just to get a media centre d/l
plugin tbo.

ahh, but it's not a d/l plugin - it's a plugin to display all your downloaded
tvseries in an easy to use interface with full metadata for each episode. in
addition it let's you rate series and episodes to get personalized
recommendations for other series you may enjoy.

of course, it costs a few quid, but if you use a pc as your main means of
television viewing it's well worth it imo.

screw windows media centre. used the 2005 version for about 2 years and had to
constantly deal with crashes and freeze up. the recording was a bit haphazard.
there was no tv guide for australia.

changed to media portal & use the "my tv series" plugin - glorious.

do yourself a favour and give it a try.
