can't access site unless i use a proxy

i can't seem to access eztv.it unless i use a proxy. is my isp or country being
blocked? i use cogeco and i'm in canada.

tract route gives me the following:
unable to resolve target system name eztv.it.

i have also flushed my dns

if tracert fails, pinging eztv.it gives the same response (or lack of it) right ?

try open dns: hxxps://www.opendns.com/start
after you set it up flush your dns and try pinging eztv.it again and post the
ip you get.

it seems open dns is doing the trick. so something is fuckered with my isps dns
servers

i'm having the same problem accessing eztv.it i'm currently with cogeco as
well. i managed to work around it only by using eztv.nl
any other suggestions?

did you try using open dns from my previous post ?

dns thingy you just said..can you give me steps or link me to a guide please i

oh and do you mean i have to change my internet service provider
coz around here there is only 1 provider...[etisalat] so that's not realy an
option

can you atleast tell em what opends basicly does..i don't like doing things to
my router that i don't know what are going to do..sorry for the noobyness of

omg guys~ i didn't mean i can't get to the site..the site works fine
(obviously)
it's when i download..the torrent doesn't connect to any peers...and the
tracker error gives me is 403 stop! in tracker...

when i made a thread someone linked me here and i don't know why...
