Problems with popups/popunders and malware?

after seeing the post by the admins of eztv, i thought it would be appropriate
to suggest that everyone visit mvps.org/winhelp2002 to install a hosts
file that would have already prevented these popups/popunders on the mininova
site. there's even a program listed there that will automatically update the
hosts file whenever it is changed on the winhelp2002 site. i always recommend
this to my friends. it has helped prevent the installation of malware on their pcs!
