also this release is very low resolution, but it could be that scifi is airing their hd content with less bandwidth, thus the lower resolution... since there is no atsc mpeg2 high bandwidth to compare it too... scifi is cable/sat only... that's mostly why nbc/cbs/abc/fox/pbs releases in hd are so good, cable/sat is much more compressed than over the air atsc hdtv, like 20-40%... and it always becomes very visible on a computer screen, on a tv it doesn't show so much, especailly if some sits further away than 3 times the diagonal of the tv... |

really? where is a better one? where is dimension's? only ctu released this weeks episode and it is 30 hours after air now. hey i'm all for quality but i am also for a reasonable time frame and more than 24 hours after air is not a win no matter how awesome it is lol note - that is what internal releases are for.... i bet you downloaded this one by now huh if so who won lol |

you have no idea what you are talking about. the resolution is exactly the same. it is the bitrate which is lower and thus detail is lost. when bitrate is real real low you get macro blocking. |

i agree. i mean sci fi channel of all channels so needs the full 17mb and to cut it back to 11mb is a crime. lol |
