RSS Feed Questions

i have some questions about the rss feeds. i'm using utorrent, i've read the
tutorials, and i do understand it. configuring it won't be a problem.

the quick tutorial says to always put a show in it's own directory, but the
directions at the bottom say to set this if you want... so which is it? can
anyone be more specific as to why setting it one way or another?

normally, i automatically move all completed torrents to a single directory, i
rename them, then move them to dvd. do i have to leave the files on my hdd in
order for them to not re-download? the problem for me would be that i pull
down a lot of shows, and my hdd will fill up fast.

i have everything availible up to today downloaded. how do i prevent the
current episodes or older ones from downloading?

the reason i chose to use rss feeds is to have everything automated, not to have
to visit the site for all the shows i want and for every single episode. i chose
rss to save time. if any propers come out - of course i'll get them so it will
come naturally to get them through the feeds. again checking every show for
propers would be time consuming.

reliability - when was the last time the eztv feed went down
completely(btchat/mininova) ? when were propers released ? clearly the
likeliness for the feed to go down is slim to none, while propers - 2 or 3 a
week, sometimes more. it's clear which option has the most advantages (at least
for me) - the "quick" one.

you can assign any folder you want for the shows, even the same one. as long as
you have the torrent stopped in the torrent client it will not be redownloaded,
even if you move the original files.

I'm a new user (ex tvtorrents) and I have bookmarked my favorite shows, but I have a question...
Can't we have a RSS feed only listing the favorite shows, so as not to pollute the feed ?
