who cares about all the stuff you people are complaining about... this episode could have been the worst since it started up again in 2005 but it would still be one of the best... he's not alone anymore... and i hope there isn't a spin off... i hope we see a return in the final 3 with martha, rose, and donna... and jenny!!! |

i like torchwood and couldn't care less about jack being gay etc. but how would you do that in dr who? i don't see the doctor suddenly switching sides  and him traveling with a male companion is also a little far fetched,let alone 2. so it'd have to be on the planet/time he's visiting... which makes it a 1 off. on the issue of martha. i was ok with her before wen it was just her and the doctor, but it seems worse now, and how is saying you think martha being a beautifull woman slightly redeems her acting bad, have you looked at what you see in the average program on tv, all beautifull people, it just sells i guess. and an ep with martha, rose, donna... and jenny would be cool |

could be. there's word of a very high chance that there's not going to be a doctor who series/season next year, so the tales of the doctor's daughter would most likley take it's place for a year. although the xmas special will still be made. |

i don't believe that it was a deep emotional bond was the cause of the emotional outburst but rather self loathing in the fact that she had convinced this creature to come out onto the surface against it's original intent just to end up sacrificing itself. just my thought. |

having seen 95% of the doctor who episodes available to watch going back to the 60s this ep was fine for me. shop crapping on you lot, don't download it if you don't like it. nobody is making you. thank you to all of those who put in the effort to bring this show to us. |

for those that didn't know, jenny really is the daughter of the (fifth) doctor a.k.a. peter davidson. i vote georgia moffett for doctors assistant, hot but no sexual tension, perfect. torch(wood) the other two! |

just wanted to throw in my two cents. if you don't like martha then don't watch torchwood next season as she is meant to replace owen as the new medic. anyone know actor to replace toshiko (sp?). i quite liked how well the doctor got along with ross (the unit soldier from the sultarian eps) and why can't he take a man and a woman? he said so himself to donna that he was just looking for a "mate". obviously our poor timelord is a little lacking in the male companionship. maybe he could finally find a companion that could look after themself? and besides - rose was the best companion and definatly the best looking. bille piper walks all over freema agyeman. last thing. doctor isn't coming back till 2010 after this season so it's quite possible that jenny could have her own show, or appear in torchwood or in the telemovies? most likely the end of the "the doctor's daughter" is the writer's way of creating openings to future eps and possible spinoff should they run out of ideas. |
