Question About Ratings

i was wondering if the tv networks take into account the online viewing
population when they give shows ratings. i know tons of people that don't
watch tv anymore but watch shows streaming and could see how easily a show
could appear to have bad ratings on a network but not online. any thoughts?

the answer is yes. i have many thoughts. especially when i think hard.
