the new mm guy mighty marvel the same as the old guy mad martha? i got this one
from mighty marvel and its kinda soft compared to the older mm rips.

it is a pity that too many things were discussed here that do not have to do
with the episode - a shame really, i stand behind the series, love it
completely, also the childish stuff, doctor who is a child-oriented series,
those who do not like that have to find some other stuff and not constantly
post how bad it is. but voicing the opinion is fine, just keep it that way and
arguing does not make it better, no matter who's side you are on...

i would like if the off-placed germany ww2 reference were deleted...

now to the episode, for me it was maybe one of the best ever, the week wait is
long, but it always is anyway ;-) tennant is so good as doctor and donna really
grows well into the role, i hope she stays...

behave people there is no point in fighting!

yes, r2d2, that frivolous germany/wwii reference would definitely be better off
deleted.

anyway, excluding all the trolling chaos, you guys have re-ignited this lapsed
who fan's interest in the show; not to mention the excellent news that the
extraordinarily talented steve moffat will "succeed russell t davies as lead
writer and executive producer of the fifth series".

ta muchly.

id urge caution to everyone getting excited in mr moffat taking over the reigns
to the show next year. its one thing writing a great story for each season of
who per year, but being the exe producer isnt being the lead writer. he'll have
a hell of a job keeping up that kind of quality while also overseeing everything
else. if anything i fear we wont even get that single great story from him next
year cause he simply wont have the time to work it into perfection. hope springs
a turtle however.
shallowhell Posted at 03/06/2008, 02:03

and to all the haters out there who think that the show is for kids, before
telling us all how you think it's crap, blah, blah, blah.... you need to ask
yourself this:
are you so bored that you feel the need to vent the frustrations of your own
pathetic life onto others who couldn't care for a single second what you really
think? if the answer is yes, then have your 2 seconds and get it out, but just
so you're aware, no one really cares in the end how you feel about it.

reply - this is as may be but on the other side of the coin what makes you so
arrogant as to think anyone gives a monkeys bum what you think about anything.

ahh, but there\'s the beauty ... moffat isn\'t taking over *next* year, the series
is taking an extended hiatus until 2010 (with rtd doing a few \"who specials\" for
\'09). in theory, there should be plenty of time to line up brilliant scripts and
a nice, tight road map for the direction of the show when it picks up. (and, his
title(s) is/are: exec producer and lead writer ...).

again: check out the fill story here:

otoh, while i\'m definitely in the camp that believed rtd has been phoning it in
for the last 2 series/seasons -- relying on a formulaic pattern for each series,
rehashing plots, and, often, wasting the talents of the supporting casts -- his
*first two* years on who were a progression and quite excellent, imo. my quess
would be that -- given the \"kind of\" hiatus -- we get, at least, a couple great
years of who with moffat at the helm. stay positive! <g>
