a lot of the eztv web pages use the generic title 'eztv - tv torrents online
(eztvefnet.org is now eztv.it)'.
the problem is that i often drag links to a directory (for later download or
perusal) and firefox automatically gives the link a name based on the title -
which means that they all end up called the same thing, requiring some sort of
rename - shock horror! more than one click!!! 🙂
how about the titles of the pages being given some sort of variety - you could
add the show or episode name to the page title of the show pages from the show
list, and the same for forum pages related to that show. you could add the title
of news articles on those articles. you could even add the name of the thread
from the forum to the title of posts in that thread.
you could also do individual names for major parts of the site - ie add 'show
list' to the show list page's title, and so on.
i program in asp and c# not php (my bad luck!), but still i'm pretty sure it
would be easy enough since you are already getting that information from the
database for each page. of course you guys are busy, so it probably couldn't
happen overnight, but still... whaddayathink?
