wow the comments are as silly and childish as usual on here... i guess if you only watch one news service you get a limited view of what/how it's being reported... sad sad little poeple.. most not alive in 1990/91 |

oh, canadaman! let us all prostrate ourselves at the feet of the only person mature enough to have an insightful grasp of the complexities of "watching the news", and whose opinion is therefore... hang on a minute, you didn't actually have anything to contribute, did ya? edit: just out of interest, as no one has mentioned any quality issues, can i take it that none exist? |

quality is good imo, nice job. good show looking forward to the rest of it. i bow to canadaman 'cos he probably knows s h and one t i don't know 'cos he acts superior to all of us...i know i'm going to get bad marks for the bad grammar too from him, even though i'm probably older than him. |

cheers for the quality confirmation. my sky+ screwed itself with some, should have been non-existent, series link. to those of you who don't get the sky+ reference, bang the rocks together. just in case you're wondering; i'm half pissed and playful and in something of a whimsical mood. |

interesting review here http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml?xml=/arts/2008/07/26/nosplit/bvtvsunfeat26.xml ![]() "in 1991, saddam hussein fired missiles at tel aviv. one landed just 50 metres from the house of the israeli actor igal naor. it was the middle of the night, and naor had to dress his terrified children, strap gas masks onto them and rush them out of the house to safety. seventeen years later, we’re about to see naor play the man who almost killed him and his family. house of saddam, which begins on bbc2 on wednesday, is a robust four-part dramatisation of the iraqi dictator’s time in power. co-produced by the bbc and the american network hbo, it starts in 1979 when saddam seized the presidency and ends in 2006 with his execution.? |

i love the irony that saddam is being acted by an israeli actor, lol poetic justice? for the 39 scuds israel received without return to sender. its gonna miff some diehard saddam supporters. |
