"proper" ... "real proper". lol, it cracks me up every time! i'm glad i wait for the 720p version - they are done properly, first time, almost every time, and the quality is typically top notch. far more reliable (if you have the bandwidth allowance). personally i don't see why "the scene" has this silly fixation for getting the eps out as fast as possible with a "we're faster than you" kiddie mentality. when you're trying to do something like this too quickly you are just asking for errors, and bad releases only waste the bandwidth of those who download them, and frustrate all concerned. personally i think it would be much better if they took a breath while getting the eps out, so that they released it correctly the *first* time, not the 2nd or in this case 3rd time. that's just a joke. i know i don't need to grab it the millisecond it's released and i'm sure most people don't feel the need to do that either. back when the "lol" rips were common i know i used to wait until that version came out, simply because the quality they produced was very reliable and propers were quite rare for them, and that's the way it should be. bottom line: i suspect that most of us would be far happier if they took just a teensy bit more time and a bit more care when editing so that the *first* release was almost always excellent quality, rather than the hit and miss that often happens. heck, i've only just finished watching the 720p version (and the *only* version - i don't like downloading the same thing 2 or 3 times) i grabbed. sometimes it's even 2 or 3 days after i get it (shock horror!) that i manage to sit down and watch it. basically, if you take the time to produce quality results every time people will wait for your releases over others. the proof: the [mm] doctor who releases. many people wait for those, especially the hq version which is sometimes a day or 2 late, but is *always* excellent quality - [mm] takes the time to make sure of that. |
