just seen the uk equivelent of this show in it has differences. the main one being the last sketch in the us (two body builders) has been removed in the uk, and replaced with the fat uggly woman, who loves to take her clothes off. wonder why the differences??? any ideas? mk |

bbc would of deemed it unsuitable for a pre-10pm bbc1 audience, the previous series that were made for bbc3 were re-edited to suit the bbc1 audience in a pre-10pm timeslot. the body builder sketch was shown on jross's show 10:30pm show a week ago so i'm hoping tonights repeat at 10pm will be uncut, only hope then is that shown on bbc3 at some point |

i thought i was going mad until i realised another person had noticed that this is the same version just foucused on the us this time around. as in anything, the brit humour is great and takes some wonderful pot shots at the americans (easy targets i know) - good to get something that is not all skinny anorexic actresses, fake tanned actors and audiences that are told when to laugh. it may be cliched but roll on more little britain and in the us there is a wealth of things we can take pot shots at. |
