no, dimension's 720p release has been nuked for oos as
well.
if that's true, is it possible that it was aired out of sync ?

when crimson released this ep to sites it wasn't labeled as a proper.
dexter.s03e01.hdtv.xvid-crimson
i don't know why eztv mods threw the proper tag into the name.

get nuked?

the second crimson "proper" is the one we've got here, basically.
crazy that they're all out of sync.. it's as though they all got it from the
same source.. or like was mentioned above, that the feed itself was out of
sync. also, from what i understand all that needs to be done is to have 160ms
delay applied to the affected section, so i don't know why a proper proper is
taking so long.

i am almost starting to think we will never see a real proper for this :-(

no difference.
but the preair was badly cropped and the pq was not so good. so we are all
waiting for a real proper. but i am almost affraid it will not happen anymore :-(

guys, i just finished the 720p version and yes i did notice the out of sync but
it's not that bad. as a matter of fact it seemed to lessen during the episode or
maybe i just got used to it and my brain corrected it for me.
bottom line.. the 720p version is totally watch-able and in beautiful quality
otherwise.

this is getting way beyond a fucking joke!
a "pilot" is a demo for a new show. it is, therefore impossible to have a pilot
for a show that is now in its third series (season: american).
pre-air episodes may have some editorial / quality differences from the end
product. if you are a voyeur rather than a collector then don't waste you
bandwidth.
if you're looking to put together your own dvd set, then maybe it might be worth
hanging fire for a few hours to get the definitive version.
seriously, how is this not just common fucking sense.

again, sm0ke's 1080i version is in sync (though a couple of minor broadcast
glitches are present).
i know there is a 720p re-encode of that coming, and i wouldn't be surprised to
see a standard sd version as well.
if nothing else, showtime is likely to rebroadcast this a billion more times...
what else to they have? :-)
