i can't speak to the quality of this file - as i watched the debate live. but.... as for content... joe had a tough road to travel. if he'd given even *1/4* of the snark, contempt, and outright vitriolic hatred toward caribou barbie that mcidiot had shown last week, the gop wudda been all over him as 'beating up on the girl' and crying 'sexist' - changing the very nature of the analysis from topics to attitudes. considering the varied elements working against him, he seemed to do remarkably well. and yes, while she did put on the folksy charm, it apparently did not go over so well with the citizens of the land. witness the nearly *universal* polling that pretty much agreed biden came out further ahead at it's conclusion. maybe, just maybe, the people are starting to - as kucinich proclaimed the need to do - wake up! of course.... that assumes that outright thievery doesn't happen for a *3rd* national election in a row! something i'm not yet convinced is beyond potential. and a special shout out to barbell - it's awesome to come across another tpm reader here in the p2p community! go tpm! :-d when ya'll want real journalistic integrity, dedication, and information, go there! 2 more debates to go, right? ;-) |
