TODO (please read before posting about issues)

hey guys,

sorry i haven't been around, i've been sick the last few days so i haven't had a chance to properly
go through the list of things people have found on the website. i will go through the list soon and
try to patch up things as i go along. in regards to the login problem, this is due to one of the
cache servers playing up and i will try and look into this as soon as i can.

i will use this thread to notify of any issues fixed or implementations added.

hopefully fixed login issue... please let me know if some people are having issues still, it may be
you need to clear your cookies. we had to change how system worked a little.

vtv/mvgroup releases that appear on this site should also now appear on ezrss.it

tv news submissions should now work... i may revise it again in the near future to make it handle
more things.

added dates to tv new articles, this will only appear on newer articles as previous articles were
not storing when they were submitted.

update list of things to do. will try and churn through the list as quickly as possible.

added basic security to registration form. hopefully it's enough to stop idiotic bots from creating
accounts.

fixed bug that when you created or edited a post would take you back to the wrong page in the thread.

ezrss is now on a new server so hopefully people shouldn't have any more issues reaching the site.

added new themes, dark and light, created by ctu_bauer.
also fixed timestamps, anything older than a week will just display "> 1 week"

alrighty... little update.

i currently have no internet so my activeness online has been very little as late. but don't fear! this hasn't
stopped me from working on eztv. during my offlineness i have revised the entire code base and
optimized it tenfold which should help with load times. the templates have also been revised and cleaned
up so all pages look nice. there is also a whole bunch of new features in the pipeline which are near
completed, i will announce these new features when i properly come back online and apply the new code.

until then things may update a bit slower than normal, so please be patient, i know of all the current bugs
on the website, so there is no need to inform me via private message, or continue spamming the forum
with the same information over and over again.

it sure has been busy for me.

ok, things that have been updated:

- we now have a featured release section at the top of the page, we have teamed up with the vodo.net
project and hope to help indie film makers spread the word.

- theme revamp, i spent the time and cleaned up all the themes to make them look as nice as
possible, i'm sure there are still parts here and there that need tweaking.

- general code cleanup. i have gone through the whole codebase and cleaned up everything i could to
help optimize the site, there is more caching to help with server loads, hopefully this helps a lot.

- episode synposis, you will notice some new sections on the episode synopsis page, these are not
100% active yet as there is still a lot of work to be done before they can properly go live, but
it's not much longer now 🙂

- login issue should be be finally fixed.. to make sure, clean out your cookies and log in again,
and you should now stay logged in.

- there has been a whole bunch of little changes that majority of you won't even notice so i would
bother mentioning them.

fixed up some core overhead bugs causing constant 503 error pages, hopefully all have been fixed.

fixed issue with my pages, previously if you clicked "watched show" it cleared everything on your
list. this has been resolved...

started adding a little bit of seo to the website.

fixed issue with tv news article on different themes. also fixed \ issue on submitting new articles.

fixed bug which stopped users from making new threads on the forum, please inform me via pm if there
is any places where you still can not make new threads.

also fixed bug in my pages which stopped users from issuing 'watched all' on a show.
