thanks for the fyi, but unfortunately, by the time i looked for the edit button, which i was sure i
remembered from previous usage, i had got distracted by a phone call for a while. however, during
that phone call my session must have timed out and so i had to log back in. of course, i
didn't think to then look for the edit button but just typed a new reply before noticing the edit button
after posting my new reply. double doh!!! :s
