the story is a little bit thin, and the acting is boring, they shout too much... hopefully it will get better. i give them a second chance, but i'm already longing sg1 and atlantis. |

my wife and i were both quite excited about getting a new stargate fix, but after watching this, feeling very disappointed at the moment... felt like a bit of a rip-off of bs:g with a stargate badge just slapped on it (ftl fer christs sake, robert carlisles character being a stand-in for baltar, the young military guy as apollo etc...) still, will hold out hope for the new series, see if the next few episodes improve at all |

well both my shows dollhouse and this one are loading so slowly that i'll have to watch them tomorrow been downloading for 8 hours and its still only 31% sooooo slooowwww, terrible trackers this week hopefully they fix it for next week |

i just watched it and love this new series, yes its different than sg1 and atlantis but the same concept would be boring a 3rd time round. i dont know why people are complaining about spped i got it in under an hour. mayb you people should look into you bittorrent setup and portforwarding etc. |

i for one am very happy that they didn't copy the first two series. would get old really fast. and don't know if you folks watched the other series from the beginning but the acting wasn't superb there either.. takes a few episodes for the actors to get used to their roles. quality is great and thanks to eztv for the show. |

how good is this =) thought it was ace, not as jokey as the other stargates, but no worries there. no alien bad guys as yet and the hints that there are consequences for actions might actually happen (no more blowing up solar systems without even a slap on the wrist hopefully). it's less toys for the boys too, there wasn't a hint of a super weapon or magical character. its a genuine attempt at a plot driven intelligent bit of tv, which to be honest is rare and welcomed. by me any how. it does seem to borrow heavily from bsg and lost in space, but without being ultra bogged down with mythos, technical gubbings and an arm flailing robot =) its far from perfect but compared to anything else this year (as far as the pilot episode goes anyhow and perhaps with the exception of flashforward) it warrants some decent attention. did lou diamond phillips have more than one line it? i cant remember, i'm sure he's meant to be in it for more than one scene though =) |

awesome episode. and the quality isn't bad at all, at least when you watch it on a tube television. i really liked it, and i actually like rush. no one in the series likes him (and my mother sure as hell doesn't) but i do, he seems like he's trying to do his best. |

i expected this series to be shitty, even more shitty than sga. when i read about the plot online i was sure that the series will be boring as hell. i was wrong. i was pleasantly surprised by this show, and it's amazing crew. robert carlyle shows amazing acting. |

long haul. he's an established film actor (not a bad one either) and it's p. rare to see one crossover to tv for anything other that a guest appearance. i was sure when i first heard that he was in it, it would be for the first episode or two then get killed off, but imdb puts him in every ep. maybe he's gotten typecast as a violent little brit and can't get any decent movie jobs, so has decided to do a tv spot to break the typecasting. |
