um, each gate has it's own power source... and on a side note, it is very obvious from the posts in this thread that people would like the forums to be taken down again. |

easiest way to (hopefully) stop that is to just institute a policy in which your first offence is your last, your banned, ip ban (if necessary) and forbid free email addresses & retain email addresses to stop them from creating a new accounts. or moderate posts before they become visible, it would take time, but then again you'd need some poor bastard to sit there and do it  or perhaps a rating system for each user, if enough people mark you negative you cant make posts anymore. |

don't see how anyone can complain about people standing in some sand for 12 hours being a tad pointless when the series opener hinged (groan) on how a door worked. still, it all seems rather good despite it's complete lack of going anywhere. hopefully the writing will hit it's stride soon enough and something interesting will start to develop. |

if the gate has it's own power source enough to stay functional for centuries on a desert, then why the one they used to get into the ship needs extra power? the batteries were low and they made a jumper? seriously...
the whole situation about the forums being shut down is now used to shut up whoever dislike the episodes. just because i don't agree with the stargate fans posting on this thread, that doesn't automatically make me a troll. did i offended anyone or was i inpolite? nope. besides, if everyone just post good things about every show on this site, we would download a lot of garbage. |

i think that the ship being released will be found to be a safety device for the ship. there were 2 people left behind, mayby the ship automtically detected that they didnt come back aboard or dialled another stargate and realesed supplies to send back to them! |

if you actually read my post... "on a side note..." i was referring to the countless spoilers polluting all the show threads , everyone is entitled to the own opinion, how else can there be discussion, however spewing details that may spoil for the people who come in here to read up if there are any problems with the file before they download it is just plain wrong, and also , against forum rules

so, are we totally disregarding the previous 15 seasons of stargate? so they took a power supply with them to every planet, every new gate had to be wired up to the generator before they could use the gate? maybe only a half dozen times , was an external power source required to open the stargate obviously these are not the same gates used in the milky way galaxy, have the power source at the gate and not in the dhd power crystal , you did see the huge platform it was standing on? and yes, the one on the ship is powered by the ship, was atlantis any different? |

so nobody is having major lag problems with the file, then? just me? audio and image are seconds apart from each other, and the image appears to lag in general. |
