the story was a little thin but hey, it was russell's and david's last show - i'll cut them ungodly
slack because of the whole series.

thank you david and russell, it was a hell of a trip and i can only hope that steven moffat and matt
smith can live up to the quality and joy that the new age of doctor who has given me.

the episode was awesome!!! but they should change the title to doctor what, doctor what the hell
happened to your face. was that his real face!! matt smith looks like he just walked out of a horror
movie, its ridiculous!!!

you lot must have watched a different version than me, the one i watched was a steaming pile.
grating ott music, terrible ego driven performances from actors and director, thin plot, stupid plot
devices, horrible 'cgi' and art direction from the 80s. the list goes on. what's worse, the next
doctor that moffet has to work with seems to think that acting just involves pretending to be david
tennant.

lol. very funny comment about his face. i do have to agree. concidering he is like the youngest
doctor ever he does look like he has seen one too many late nights.

david tenannt has done an excellent job playing doctor in all of his seasons. i hope that matt smith or
what ever his name is, won't be a total dissapointment.

i'm rather relieved that matt smith has a very distinctive, and not terribly beautiful face. my
great fear was that tennant would usher in a series of pretty boy doctors.

the doctor should have a weird face.

i'm more worried that he does seem to be doing mostly a tennant impersonation. hopefully he'll grow
into the role and make it more his own.

funny i thought thats 3 boy toys in a row. the 2005 series was a mixture of mediocrity, great
acting, terrible casting, and a few good stories like the previous xmas special with davros. the
obsession with interracial couples and homoerotic stories was miserable. nobody gave a crap about
mickey or roses fat imbecilic mother. and then they go and cast that moron martha as the medical
student, which couldnt have been more of a joke to smart people. did they not listen to her speak
in real life? shes barely functional. and they did all that because she was pretty and black. so it
all comes to an end, a really strange end, where this brilliant savior of mankind who has been
through regen 9 times suddenly goes emo, changes into the elephant man, and starts acting like a
little baby giggling and making a farce out what just broke him down. what the fuck? wtf was that?
its just too gay, and that doctor as a pimp thing made me sick. but thats not what i remember.
what stays with me is the brilliant way that david tenant encapsulated the best mannerisms of tom
baker and david pertwee, and the way that rose was essentially the perfect companion. ill never
forget the fun i had watching donna and david say they were not a couple, nor the loss i felt
when rose was trapped in the other universe.

really slow for me too. i've had it on since it was uploaded and (aside from yesterday when i didn't
have utorrent on) i'm only at 62% with another 1day and 17 hours to go??

not that i'm complaining, i just think it's really strange that this is so slow?
