wow so many people in this forum really disliked this episode and i don't know why? i agree that the repeat of musical numbers was a fail as they have no comedic value out of context and they didn't even show the best musical numbers the show has done....it really was just a filler..but! i thought the extended show in the bank vault was really special..i mean sure no cut aways but that was a nice change and it was really well written..surly you can't take the view that it was nothing more than toilet humor? fg is full of that kind of stuff all the time. i thought it was a brilliant episode and i thought it confirmed the strong bond between stewie and brian and was even a little touching...and all these shows have had a go at serious moments from time to time the simpson's has, south park has..even american dad has on occasion and now family guy and i think they nailed it. score 8.5/10 for brian & stewie. overall score with musical numbers 7/10 enjoy...brian. |
