why is every thing on eztv slowing down.
on most of the new torrents the are 200 or less peers.
is there a problem or somthing like that?

it's probably just because you're used to the "new" torrents being a lot newer.
since there are only a couple of releases a day at the moment, some of the
stuff on the front page is over a week old now - usually the front page can only
fit a couple of days of releases.

but the releases over the past week have only been 3 or 4 releases a day.
and before there were 5 or more releases a day.
i am new to this site but i do know that there has been a lot more releases a
day then there is now.
just wanted to know if there is a problem with the seeder and if there are not
enough seeder to seed the releases?
but thank you eztv for your amazing effort!!!!!

it's holiday season and a lot of people are not online.

it's holidays, and the scene needs them aswell you know ;-)

alot of the shows eztv seeds are on mid season breaks or a small holiday break
of one or two weeks. you will find that in most places around the world
regular tv shows will get pushed aside for specials and holiday shows
(although maybe not now if your country does not follow his holiday season).

things will pick up again after new years and any missed torrents will more
than likely appear on here.

yup every one is taking a break all at home sipping the eggnog.
less people online and the popular shows are breaks right now either for
christmas or just the horrible marketing ploys of tv producers to milk it for
all its worth. eh just wait and shows will start airing again. just look on the
calendar pogdesign.co.uk/cat/ almost no shows this week and very few in general.

so there is no problem with the seed.
i read an article that said eztv is having problem with torrent speed and that
people are trying to choke the torrents.
this is the article. is it true and if it is how is it going for the team(eztv)
is it still happening?

that is over a year and a half old and i havent had any problems lately plus as
the article points out it was not very succesful do to the large size of swarms.
so it works perfectly fine for me except that my internet connections sucks. im
not sure why you are so concerned but if your not having problems with dl speeds
every thing should be fine. if you do it has to do with your end of things. good
luck

nope, no problem with the seeders - as others have said, the only problem is the
fact that very little new content is airing on television over the holiday
period. things will get back to normal in mid-january as all the shows
gradually start up again.

why would the speed of an individual torrent have anything to do with the total
number of torrents released anyway ??... if anything, it would increase
the speed, as it would allow for more bandwidth to be spread across the fewer
torrents simultaneously..

there are fewer torrents because it is x-mas time...
there are slightly fewer peers because it is x-mas time..

that is all... don't try to read into a big problem that doesn't exist..

as spetz said.. if you are ever getting slow speeds, it is your own fault...
it's a problem on your end.. check the settings in your client.
