RSS problems

hi,

i'm suddenly having rss problems after many months of perfect operation, can
anyone help? the version of rss feed i'm using is:

eztv rss/irc (rss over irc) mirc script by definate mod to support xml
ampersand by sysguy version 1.1.8

when it tries to download the feed i get the error

malformed rss xml : the element type "link" must be terminated by the matching
end tag "</link>

think i've sorted it. deleted the eztv_rss.xml file and it seems ok now.
must have been a dodgy entry in there to begin with.
