say that we now realized that the earth was goingt to be irrevocably destroyed in 2040 and that we
had to leave. that would spark kind of an upswing in the evolution of technology in that area right?
at the same time we have the fairly new telescope in space, that i don't remember the name of now,
looking specifically for planets orbiting other stars.
as said before, not probable, but feasible!

first ep felt a bit messy with very little explanation for all the goings on, but i guess they'll
fill in the blanks as they go. no real opinion yet, but hopeful!

in the past
are what has lead to any discord in the present as the show moves forward.... still, i was surprised

the classic "sacrafice for the greater good" type of character.
the good thing about this show is that its british so it wont get axed from some stupid american
network
if its not as low budget as a reality show.

id also add that like in bsg i think its kind of strange that they still use guns and bullets as
weapons in
2040, with the powered exoskeletons darpa projects and increasing research into nanomaterials i
predict that by then soldiers would be able to mount some serious armor which will make traditional
guns mostly useless.

wow talk about a lack of imagination. badly written and badly thought through.
just finished watching it and was shocked with the way they stuffed it up.
life is short won't be bothering with episode 2

has a very earth2 feel to it. i think its got potential.
