10060.. tracker down?

so, above msg appeared. anyone giving info on the tracker on irc - nope. anyone
willing to help - yea try dht 😛. c'mon check yourselfs i hope this is a joke.
don't get me wrong i pretty much appreciate eztv, but those boldheads can suck

i remember reading in faqs bout 5 years ago (old tvtorrents @ efnet)

if you get the 10060 connection refused message, its because you are
considered a dirty rotten leeeeeeech

dirty leech???? i always seed during and after i get shows... i'm confused...
help... i was able to get shows last night... but not tongiht...help?

getting this problem - unable to connect w/ tracker - however utorrent reports
that it is "timed out". is it location based? i am in australia?

the tracker is most likely down or very busy, all you can do is keep waiting or
use a client that supports dht.


even though that error message could mean that you're being blocked, it's not
necessarily the reason as it may just as well be the tracker having issues
(which i find to be the most likely explanation).
