Show request "Day Break" and "How I met your mother"

it would be really nice if you guys would start adding episodes of these 2 shows
as they come. i know you said in the faq that its just a long shot but maybe
i'll get lucky 😉

edit: just noticed these shows aren't in the eztv search list (attn mods), so
i'll just give you a nudge in the right direction. go to btchat.com and/or
mininova.org and search there.

uhhh.. didn't abc cancel daybreak?

yes, daybreak was cancelled. but starting tomorrow (1/29) the remaining
episodes will start to be streamed on abc.com. hopefully someone will cap and
post those episodes for those of us outside the us.

capping streaming video... you mean getting the feeds, more-than-likely eztv
will not be doing said stuff. the quality of web-video is not requiring any
"scene" involvement...
i was quite disappointed when day break was cancelled. i love vicky pratt, from
mutant-x, xena, and cleopatra 2525 :d <vavavoom>
also the episode coming up references some(one) who may indeed be going through
the same groundhog day effect as taye diggs.

it was done for another show that was cancelled earlier this tv season in the
us. cant remember which show but maybe "smith". hopefully it will be done this
time as well. there has also been talk of the uk network bravo airing the
show, but no details yet on when.

webrips were done and eztv distrubuted for vanished. quality was decent, but
not great. it looked ok if you didn't blow it up to big. sorta like a crappy
dsr.

it's certainly better than missing the entire show, imo.

there was a thread about the day break streaming a while back nearer the time it
was announced and i'm pretty sure one of the admins said they would try and get
hold of them. if not i'm sure someone here will point the rest of us in the
right direction, i too am outside the us so will not be able to get them direct
from the channel's website.
