TV News trouble

i absolutely love the tv news section so today i finally decided to add a
piece of news. when i was done writing i hit the preview button but got this
message: "failed asking the database for data" . what does it mean? am i doing
something wrong? please help.

yeah, i had that problem. it happened when i submitted something with "regarding
show" as "none". once i put "discovery channel" it worked.

incidentally, other problems with news: there needs to be a limit on the size of
the images, when you click on "read more" the image does not need to be expanded
beyond its original size.

also, when you edit your news, the url for the image and the title are gone,
rather than being filled in from the article to be edited.

on the tv news page, there should be an ellipsis (i.e. ...) when the text for
the article gets cut off (i don't know how hard it would be to make it cut off
only after a whole word instead of a certain number of characters, but that
would be nice)
