Warning: Downloading Microsoft OneCare disables PeerGuardian 2

i installed microsoft's new virus, anti spyware, firewall software earlier
today. peerguardian stopped blocking everything as a result. the worst thing
about it was that peerguardian appeared to function normally, but i happened
to check what it was blocking, while downloading some tv shows & noticed that
my p2p list was empty. it also disabled the safe peer plugin for azureus!
i had to delete peer guardian & reinstall it to fix it. (after removing
onecare) a simple reinstall on it's own didn't work.
be very careful if you are running windows live onecare with peer guardian 2.

this is going to seem to most to be an idiotic question but keep in mind that
i am not very computer saavy:
how do i unistall microsoft onecare on my computer? or better yet, where do i
go on my computer to unistall it? i quickly went through the add/remove
programs and i didn't see it there (i could've possibly just missed it).

those who know more than i do, please help. thanks.

onecare was also the only product that failed an independant test of 17 virus
checkers recently. it only picked up 85% of the virii they tested on it!

the reason i'm asking for the help is that a few days ago i noticed that my
peer guardian wasn't blocking anything and i didn't know why. when i saw this
thread it all made sense. i think i got microsoft onecare from the microsoft
automatic updates but i'm not sure. please help me!
i know i sound really dumb but i want to make sure everything is okay. i've
seen the number of recommendations for peer guardian on this site and i would
like to make sure mine is up and running properly.
