RSS Feed

i have set up my rss feed but all of a sudden it stopped working yesterday.
any ideas?
it comes in my releases section but dosen't start downloading automatically?

why?

anyone that is having trouble with the rss feeds not working in utorrent
because of the group names tagged to the end. do the following at the end of
your tv show title in the filter box just put a ' * ' at the end, and your rss
reader will ignore anything after the title

or use h_tp://tvrss.net/feed/legacy/eztv/

it lists the items in a less human readable but more machine friendly manner,
which makes utorrent's inbuilt showname parser much happier.

i'm not too sure what you were aiming for - did the forum mangle it ?
(i'm assuming the forward slash instead of backslash was deliberate to try &
get around the problem)

as mentioned in the other thread (h_tp://www.eztvefnet.org/index.php?
forum=view_thread&tid=3054) be careful with metacharacters in regex. they
don't always correspond to what one might intuitively expect.

in this case "+" it means "match one or more instances of the prior
expression", rather than a simple "and" operator.

colbert.+(\\b03\\b.\\b05\\b) would work, but is there some reason you
really want to match on the specific date string (03.05) ?

if you don't, and just want a general show match i would suggest a simple
colbert.report make sure you set the type as other, and check disable
after success so that the filter only grabs the most recent episode in the
list.

for the daily show i would suggest a similar approach but make it
the.daily.show it's a little more specific, because `daily` and `show` are
common words on their own.
