just curious as the major clients (azureus and utorrent) support it, why the
eztv torrents dont use tracker groups or multi-trackers or whatever you prefer
to call them.
just seems to make sense to me as there are now 4 tracker provided and run (i
presume) by the awesome slad007 (thank you lots btw !). as seen by the effects
of swamp mondays they cant individually handle the load of all the torrents and
peeps using them.
i dont want to sound like a smart arse here but there are simple ways of load
balancing using apache. to say, setup 1 master server that load balances between
the actual tracker servers couldnt be that hard could it (its well documented in
apache man pages if your interested, try starting under mod-rewrite if your
curious).
