being an admin doesn't give an automatic license to be rude.
i know there are stupid questions asked here, repetitively, especially lately
about hr and 720p releases etc, but the op did ask in a reasonable, polite
tone,
and there aren't really any sources around on the net saying exactly *why* all
these shows are on long breaks at the moment.
it's obvious they are on a break - anybody can read a calendar. specifically
why
is a bit frustrating for those who don't live in america (and don't know
there's
college basketball dominating the airwaves).
i respect that admins have a hard job, but being an admin gives you rights that
many don't have - it is a position of authority - it also means you are
required
to exhibit extra patience and fore thought when moderating forums.
it's generally a good idea to not just shoot from the hip.
my 2c.
no offence but we don't *have* to be polite to anyone, that is purely our
choice
to make. we have no monthly subscription so in reality you are not exactly
'clients' so we have no obligation to offer top quality help desk support.
aydin helps us out a lot and we are thankful for it, to be honest, i would have
banned a lot of people by now if i had to do the task he does. so you should be
very thankful all you get from him is a little insult and notification of where
to look for your answer.
* admin edit:
the great thing is we still have the power to edit posts.
and what truth? that i am an admin and can do as i please, and that there is
nothing you can do to change that? also, writing in capitals doesn't exactly
help your cause.
i made a statement to you. you just decided to censor it because it was an
attack towards you, but you can attack whoever you feel like it and leave it
there i just wanted to show other uses the lack of respect admin shows for its
non cliets as you put it yet you expect all of us to praise your efforts not
bloody likely but ill say a big thankyou to all the other non clients who
still are polite and respectfully towards other.
