Watched it unselect

hi
i was wondering how you unselect an episode from the watched list. i
accidently clicked on watched for an episode i have not seen. i am trying to
use an rss reader for the list. i'd like to know how to do this for the future.
i tried to remove and add the show but it still saved my watched list.
