hey,
i'm in australia so i have no idea what time something shows on tv over there
(america).
i'm wondering, say the simpsons shows on tv at 7:30 and finishes at 8:00. how
long does it usually take a group to encode and release the episode onto the
net? or rather, what 'time' as above?
further to that, say it is on mirc (i assume this is the first dist. point) at
8:30, what time would it make it to eztv?
obviously the times would change depending on show length too.
while on the subject, what qualifies as a 'win' for a group? how does eztv
beat say vtv on a release? at what level (mirc, torrent, etc.) does the
release have to be at to 'win'? who would judge that and do they need to see
the file first to prove it or something?
it all seems pretty interesting if you ask me...
btw, thanks eztv from australia!
