Mininova down?

is the mininova site down? http://www.mininova.org/ i can't seem to access it.
anyone lese having problems?

the website is back up, but all the torrents (except for very recent) have
been deleted are not put back yet

cheers for that. i couldn't even get the front page up.

how about asking at mininova in the future whether they're down or not?

and once again.. if something's down at mininova, that doesn't pertain to eztv
so bitching about it won't do anything. either wait till it gets back up or
complain to the mininova staff. no reason to infect the forums here for
something that's unrelated.

and yes while eztv does post their torrents on mininova, eztv do not dictate
when their site is up or when it's down.

so please tell me how i'm supposed to ask the good folk at mininova if their
site is down when i can't even access it? why is it such a problem to ask on
these forums if other people are having problems connecting to mininova?

as fishlips said, eztv uses mininova so i don't think the question was out of line.

or nail him to a tree for a bit.
but then the annoying git will probably manage, 2 days later, to dig himself
out of the cave you eventually bury him in.

perhaps we have to appease him with chocolate eggs. or bunnies. or something
like that. can't quite remember the exact details of the superstition now.

and you seem to miss the point. if mininova's down, what's the point in
posting that fact here? as you said, eztv puts torrents on mininova and even
links it there so people should already know that it's down.

does eztv have anything to do with mininova's site maintenance or upkeep?
think about it a little. the answer's no by the way.

so, why then do you think that it's relevant to have a post stating a question
that eztv cannot control? do you understand now? please do not post something
that you have zero knowledge about.

and to respond to why i haven't been banned or dismissed from forum. well i
can't figure that out yet. maybe soon after my barrage of posts.. then again,
maybe not. if ever there comes a day that i start trolling or posting nonsense
or flaming posts against eztv, then perhaps.. these admins have a high
tolerance level which i get a little annoyed at too.

like i'm sitting in their channel.. and some douche comes in and asks "why is
mininova down?" and i don't see admins boot or ban.. yeah definitely high
tolerance =p

so i hope you can see where i'm coming from. it's questions like that.. that
irk me because how can eztv answer something like that? i can only say "ask
minonova?"

and on a final note, you must be very new because you seem so keen on dictating
common knowledge. duh.. eztv links to mininova. tell me something i didn't
know.

wow. just wow. aside from the occasional thank you when i download something i
do not post here much, but to this.... wow. just wow. why are the admins not
asking this guy/girl to mellow out? the question was not irrelevant to this site
and was well stated without being derogatory in any way. it really detracts from
community type nature of this place when people are allowed to jump all over
others and bully them around. c'mon already. i wish forums had a plonk or
killfile feature.
