they're seriously prepared for incidents, if they'd started at one, that's like 10billion potential unique incident numbers! and with the na on the front .... like every individual on earth could have their own number lol |

idk, like i said, they haven't even so much as sent me a piece of snail mail... i did some research and found out that there are quite a few people who get these, and they all say they were all on the same "network," (not protocol, i.e., bittorrent) "btpeers." i'm going to continue to download entourage, because i pay for cable, hbo, internet access, and i don't see how the copyright holders are losing anything but a number (viewer), since there are no commercials, and hbo is pay cable (there's an oxymoron for ya). |

look up "usc title 17, section 107: limitiations of exclusive rights: fair use" it basically means that we american's can legally download tv shows (which most air for free to begin with) as long as its for non profit and non big public showing kinda stuff. also bring up that its for research in a film or directing career there was a good talk on it at torrentspy but the whole torrent the comments where on got deleted (no suprise) but i saved it one quote from a guy that seemed to know what he was talking about is "however, if you're an american, you have usc title 17, section 107: limitations on exclusive rights: fair use (if you don't know what this is, google it).... this will protect you and they can't and won't do s**t. don't be afraid." i dont know if you can use this to get you out of downloading hbo/showtime stuff which costs money to view it any way on tv. |

"someone"!? the fact that you're posting on the eztv torrent download forum would suggest "you" were downloading the illegal content. |

stop using p2p, including torrents. the only people who ever get letters and lawsuits are people using p2p. there are other ways to download shows online, you just have to look for them. if you continue using p2p b/c it's quick and easy, you carry the higher risk of getting caught along with it. |
