a friend of mine suggested sending matchbox cars to fox though i personally think more success would be achieved by driving actual cars into the front of the building - it'd take something like that to wake the fox prgramming dept out of the drugged out stupor. :/ |

partying people ... the show features interesting characters with different background stories similar to the "lost" characters. drive therefore could really have evolved into something.
show needs time to get into motion ... and after just 4 episodes, the target audience being calculated with isn't even completely aware of the show's existence. |

and even then.. fox will probably still have their head up their proverbial rectal crevices. |

**blinks** firstly, why watch the entire season if you thought it was bad? doesn\'t make much logical sense. second, just what do you feel is an example of good writing? i really have to hear this... oooh, i do believe god is rubbing off on ya lips...that was certainly a button pushing post. |

i wish they would at least move the show to f/x or something. there, on cable, the demand for ratings is not so great. |

drive was not a very great show. the premise was unoriginal, the characters were 1 dimensional, and there was just too much filler crap in between the racing. i really dont know why it was put on the air int he first place. that said it wasn't horrible, i would probably continue to watch it. i guessed that it would be canceled after i saw the first episode. |

good lord. that's like saying bsg is the same as star wars or star trek. seriously, you may as well have just said, "it's about people driving" and been just as wrong. fb |

fishlips: well said (all of the above). although i am a fan of drive (and every other cancelled show, it seems), i also watched firefly and serenity, but never really got into it. the western aspect just didn't work for me. i thought serenity on the other hand got more real; for once the fear of what-were-they-called? crazies was both felt and explained for the first time. personally, i can't stand either of the stargates nor star trek, but bsg tells a story, and is moving forward. as for drive, i found it interesting. it would be so much better if all shows started out with six trial episodes with some sort of closure if not continued. |
