Paying HR videos on my D-link media server.

i have a d-link media server downstairs connected to my big screen tv. i
download and watch all the shows downloaded from this great site via wireless to
that unit. however, lately, the hr and hdtv files of certain shows will not play
on the dlink server but they will play on the computer. does anyone know why
this is? the units bios is updated and the computer software to run the player
is also updated. the video file types supported : dat, m1v ,mpg, mpeg, avi, mp4,
vob, m2v, mpeg2, wmv9,m4v,ts
the audio supported is : ai,aiff,lpcm,pcm,mp1,mpa, mp2, mp3, m3u, pls, ogg, wav, wma

the last update to the d-link player was before christmas, but even then cetain
episodes of say stargate wouldn't play. the unit would say that its "unable to
load file". the file would usually be the one that is about 700mb but the 350
version of that same episode would play. the newest file that wont play is
grease.is.the.word.s01e04.part.2.ws.pdtv.xvid-pvr.avi(all the episodes wont play).
i was wondering if its the audio codec(ac??) that might not be supported that
causes this?

is it possible the resolution is to high do the hr's that dont play have a
different size/resolution... i may be mistaken but some people had problems with
this on there divx dvd players.
