No Audio??

i downloaded several episodes of heroes, however, it's the video portion only,
there's no sound, no matter how high i turn up the volume. what gives?

i'd search for the answer to this question if the search function actually
worked.. so.. my apologies.

if you are having these problems with the hr or 720p files then you need the
ac3filter

but yes vlc does work nice too, comes with most codecs built in

my response was more in reference to the title of this thread.. "no audio" and
not to his post.. sorry i quoted his post.. that's edited now.

but while we're talking about his post.. you can turn up the volume all day..
but if the speakers aren't up.. or should i say.. aren't on... for the
foreigners like yourself.. then no audio.

well in my experience turning up means increasing the volume. sorry for my oh so
terrible english. 🙂

and you might wanna read through next time before you respond then if you did
not read the part about him (just to be clear now) increasing the volume.

so.. let's recap.

make sure your speaker's on. turning up the volume does nothing if that's not
on. common sense =p

let it marinate.. you'll figure it out.

in whatever player you are using there should be an audio tab/menu, click on
it and look for audio device, it should currently be on 5.1. change it to
sterio and there you go

tip. if there are loads of seeds - still...it's you. if it's you then google
sound issues and the file extension. googling sound issues, most of the time
comes back with either, "your soundcard is crud" or "wrong codecs!"

if you can play music and other films/eps, it's the codecs.

is it just me or is everyone getting really lazy these days? logic appears to
have...vanished.

just my 2 cents... but i quite commonly saw fake files with thousand of sources,
and nowhere near stopping sharing it 😛

yes, i've seen files with oooodles of seeders and they've turned out to be
rubbish. but i've never seen a fake on here.
