Lost to end after Two More Seasons...

well i just want to say - duh! the producers only ever wanted to make 100
episodes, and season 5 will give them that + a few (bowt 116 total).

now, while some fans may feel upset - i'm very happy abc will announce this. i'm
sick of sitting watching lost, and instead of getting any answers we get another
big ass question, surrounded by little questions, that leaves us gagging for
more. fine - that's television. but answering questions is also television. and
i know other fans are getting sick of it. we want answers; not more questions -
thats just gonna piss us off a bit more if we don't get 'em!

so - what's your thoughts? but if you're just gonna cry like a baby and go
"noooooooo i don't want lost to end - i love that show" please skip this topic,
serious discussion only peoples...

praise the lord. nothing worse than seeing something go on and on and on and on
- like friends or simpsons (yes, i know, totally diff. genres, but you get the
gist)

good gawd...hurley will be an anorexic! lol...seriously tho, lost is a great
show but it lost a bit for me in season 2. this season is picking up again,
for me anyways. it's like they say tho, always leave them wanting more. some
of the most successful shows in history went out on the top of their game. no
great show wants to stay until they've turned to crap before leaving. that's
how any unsuccessful show that was cancelled will be remembered. i say keep it
fresh and entertaining with an end in sight. it will be like building up to
crescendo...then they can worry about spin-offs or new shows with the
established actors.
i do enjoy lost a lot tho...great show!

first season was great. second season introduced new questions, hasn't answered
any old ones, and completely never explained a lot of questions/plots. 2nd
season is disappointing, they're beating a dead stick. all in all, seems like
they only wrote 1 season and are ad-hoc'ing the rest of it. i hope they
eventually answer the questions before it ends, and not in a stupid way.

should be said that two more seasons was just a guess. abc will be announcing
the exact end date soon. the whole thing came from e! online, which has been

tv shows must be working like casio did back in the 80-90's with it's digital
diary. when model 1 was at it's peak sale point, it was discontinued, and model
2 came out. ppl who bouthg model 1 would like model 2 .. and buy that one as well.
well, tv shows are showing that behaviour lately. got a show -> squeez it for 2
or 3 years -> grand finale -> new show (or a show based on one of it's characters).
no more dukes of hazzard stuff, where each episode was a completely bounded
story. no need to "follow" the episodes.
anyway, this is no new stuff. sherezade did this in "story of the 1001 nights".
my bets go to john locke. he deserves a show, "locks island".

i love lost, the more questions, the better.
at least it makes you think, unlike some other tv shows.
maybe there's a reason it's among the top shows on tv...and you're just one of
the few that can't open your mind to inventive plots and nice suspense.

if you don't like it, watch something else and stop complaining.
