hi ! some stuff doesn't work with my devices when i play it on my thing.
i have some `files` and some `wires`, some of which are even
plugged into stuff.
i demand specific and detailed solutions, and will get all pissy when it's
pointed out that what i need more than anything is a huge dose of clue[tm].
come on ! hurry up ! i posted this a whole 17 seconds ago, and i still haven't had a total solution, you useless bastards !
i use xbmc to watch everything and i\'ve never had a problem. well actually it
won\'t play 720p\'s in any useful fashion, but that\'s more a problem with the
poor little celery 733 cpu just not being fast enough to decode them at a
reasonable pace. i agree with the previous poster, make sure you have a recent
build of xbmc installed.
as for the library feature, no idea. there\'s a ton of stuff i haven\'t
bothered
to figure out.
what i have found out is that it will play some avi but almost all mpeg. so
i just need a avi to mpeg converter. but i dont want to pay so i guess i am
screwed!
i watch all my divx/xvid .avis through xbmc. however, you need, as stated
before, a real-time transcoder. i use transcode360. it's actually written to
work with the xbox 360's built in media center, but earlier versions worked
with the xbmc that was available for the original xbox.
google transcode 360 and you should find it. it works well enough and beats
siting in front of my pc to watch my tv shows. fwiw on my hdv the 700 mb 720p
files look much better then the 350mb files. ymmv
