how do i watch my torrent downloads on my hdtv without burning them to a dvd?
i was told that i could buy a hd pc card for my computer that would let me
watch the downloads on my hdtv.

most video cards nowadays have a dvi out. if your tv has dvi in, you're set. if
it has hdmi in, i think converters don't cost that much. your only real problem
is if the tv is an old hdtv and all you have back there is component in.

ati cards work with component in, they also supply a converter.

this is all true, but you won't get a hdtv picture on it if you don't have a
hdmi out on your card.... i don't believe that the ordinary s-video can go as
high as 1280x720 not to mention 1920x1080...

if your downloading the 350mb files then all you need is a composite/s-video
connection to the tv to get good picture for that.

for the 1.07gb files just do either component, vga at high resolution if
possible or dvi,
or hdmi if you want to go to the max. but 720p files are not uncompressed pixel
for pixel so even vga at 1280x720 (or slightly lower like 1024x768) works just fine.
