HELP

i have downloaded csi s7 e16, it wont play on windows media player or on real
player. it has sound only, no video. is it something to do with the xor
format of the file?

okay people, take a step back. this is why i agree with a poster in another
thread that during the signup process, it should take you to an faq and make
you scroll through it to agree to the signup at the bottom. also, as was
suggested, maybe a quiz you have to pass in order to sign up. :-)

i'm appalled that people need to be told this. use the sites people.. eztv has
put together a great site that points you to many helpful sections.

and all that from a little joke on the title... erm erm... 🙂
anyway, it would be a good idea, if people didn't looked at it like any other
eula, and scrolled through it in less than 5 seconds, i know i would... 🙂

not everyone who signs up knows everything straight away, thats what help forums
are for to steer people in the right direction, politely please! everyone was a
newbie once

yes but not 'everybody' asked these types of questions.

they did a bit of research as to what a torrent was/how to download one/ how to
watch the resulting file/common questions/problems etc.

it was my idea ( and aydin's ) that during the sign-up process you have to read
the faq and maybe even to a quick basic quiz in order to complete the process.

in answer to the original poster's question....have you tried vlc player, is
your volume low, have you updated all of your codecs, do any other files you've
downloaded have the same problem, tried it on any other machines, presume you
downloaded the file from this site ? have you looked in the forum for that file
to see if anyone else has the same problem ? etc etc.
