why does this warrant a news item? let's face it, an actual petition would do
nothing to sway tv execs away from what they believe to be the right choice. tv
execs won't even know an online petition exists let alone make them change their
minds.
i love jericho, and am saddened to see it go, but this is just laughable. it
honestly wouldn't surprise me if those same petition signers probably scream at
their tvs believing that the characters and/or writers can hear them. that's
about as effective a result as you can expect from an online petition.
the only way this would warrant being a newsworthy item is to point out how
laughable and futile such a waste of effort is and possibly to point and laugh
as a source of amusement.
face it people, online petitions never work. they're nothing but a source of
entertainment for people to point at the stupid fanboys who still haven't grown
up to realize that they're insignificant existance and opinion is worthless and
that screaming online makes them a tragic mirror of the comicbook guy.
y'know, i think i'll start an online petition for people to accept the fact that
online petitions are useless.
