i totally agree. it'd make sense that, with the shows the networks "aren't
confident" with, to air them during the summer for them to prove themselves
actually worthy. the likes of the black donnelly's, day break and invasion would
probably have grown in popularity given time and the right attention instead of
being inpatiently shot-down.
i recently got all the episodes of hustle, pretty good show, latest 4 on here,
had to go to another source to get the last 3 seasons. i end up watching 80s and
90s shows or shows from other countries when i get bored and there is nothing
left lol.
yeah that's what i've been doing. i caught up with the office (us) and i've
downloaded the entire series of the adventures of briscoe county jnr to watch (i
need my carlton cuse fix!)
any other recommendations on shows to watch to keep us going until september?
although your ideas sound great, the networks just don't do series during this
time of year bacause they know its the time when the least people watch tv. some
people actually go outside; i know, its hard to imagine.
and no, its not because they never thought of the idea. it just comes down to
money. networks wont do something to be on par with cash.
would you work if:
you were a boss and had to pay your workers the same amount as revenues from the
job?
unless you are insane the answer is no.
(edited because lopkinfop miscomprehend) understand now?
if you are insane...be my guest and start your own tv series when the networks
don't, and good luck with that.
yeah i'd never recommend shitty shows like ad, black donnelly's, and the riches
though.. and dexter.. firefly is good though.. but you know it's all preference
so do some research and see what suits you.
i'd recommend house md, scrubs, smallville, studio 60 (cancelled though),
october road, family guy, kyle xy (coming back in summer), heroes, etc..
there are some good older ones too.. star trek ds9, firefly, etc.
also, if worst comes to worst.. and american tv doesn't suit you. some have
become addicted to anime. who knows.. you might become an addict.
