ruokasi is a complete comehead, but he does have a point. while it is the sole
discretion of the admins to decide what is or is not "of particular interest",
the question needs to be asked: of particular interest to who? the community
they're being released for, or the admins who release them?

now, azriel did say in his fp that enough people had dled the first book to
justify releasing the other two, but that doesn't really prove a great deal.
this is a big community and tv is not (i hope) anyone's sole interest. whatever
you release here, be it paris hilton porn or your holiday snaps (assuming the
two are not one), you're going to find a fair number of people who will dl it
either because they're interested or out of sheer curiosity.

my personal feeling on the matter is that "of particular interest" should be
reserved for important things, things it's worth stepping away from the mission
to bring to peoples attention. for example, eztv upped this film is not yet
rated a few months ago. being a documentary about corruption and hypocrisy in
the mpaa, whose major goal in life is to spoil the torrenting community's day,
that's important. no matter how much you may like his dark materials, as azriel
obviously does because he took his handle from them, audiobooks of fiction are
not important.

this is a good site. please, don't spoil that by diluting it.

don't worry you're not going to be banned, you are the first person to actually
raise some good points for the opposition! all i can do is assure you that
posting these 3 audiobooks is very much a one off. at the same time if we chose
to spoil this site that would be our choice.. not yours. as i started eztv the
said "mission" was quite based on my interests

i think its shocking that eztvs admins are taking flack for giving us
something that we dont have to download if we dont want to....i think its
great that his dark materials is up here for me to listen to
(i will listen to them on the bus trips home, as reading on a bus makes me
travel sick)

i think this sites great, the torrents are great and 99 percent of the people
here are great..........keep up the wonderful works guys and girls.

i have to say that though these are audio books at the same time they are like
the old radio shows they used to play. they have a full cast of people to play
all the parts so its like a show just one you only listen to.

nah i edited his post to make it say i'm a twat.. i'm trying to get him to use
lots of proxy servers.. eventually one of his uber-l33t proxies is going to leak
his real ip.. then the fun starts
