leminski/ruokasi you have been successful in pissing off the people who have made this site. we are the people who receive nothing for keeping this running.. no donations.. no advertising.. no nothing.. we do this out of the kindness of our hearts and you've succeeded in making at least one of us wonder why the hell we bother.. really you should be very proud of yourself. ask yourself how much you have taken from this site.. and now think what you're giving back to it.. as you have stated you have quite a knack of pissing people off.. you say it's "people around here" but that is not the case. if this were real life you would get your arrogant head punched in. your relative anonymity allows you to show a total lack of respect without fear of consequences. if i do discover your actual ip address, i promise to give you some consequences. as for my so called agenda.. yes i had an agenda: i really enjoyed these books and i wanted to spread the love. as for your agenda.. it seems to be the opposite. you are a nasty poor weak excuse for a human who gets his kicks from annoying people. |

i just wanted to say, i really appreciate this site and without it i'd miss tons of shows that i enjoy. i also love that you've put these particular books up because as far as i've been able to tell they aren't available in the us (except as actual books, which i'll add that i do own and enjoy very much). anyhow, i just want to thank you for all those of you who run the place do to keep everything up and running. |

only if you've never seen a classic troll at work before. this example was particularly uninspired - it might as well have been copy/pasting example chunks from one of the many hundreds of "types of troll and how to spot them" guides littering the intarweb. there were millions of trolls before it, and there will be many more to come. the supply is seemingly infinite. life's too short to get dragged into feeding their neuroses. let the thread die a merciful death. |

you people make me laugh. hahahaha. at you. not you azriel, you rock. these books are awesome, you clearly stated your reasons for posting off-topic material when you posted the first one, and it's not like you're flooding the site with unrelated material. and, this book is in a way related to tv, since there is a movie of it coming out very soon.. and well, even though a movie isn't tv, it's still close enough! not to mention, as many people have already pointed out, it is the off season for tv, so there really isn't much good being posted anyway, and we could use things to spice things up! and as far as you silly people who think there is no point to audio books.. for me, at least, it would take me weeks to read a physical book, because i just don't have that much spare time to read. however, i have 8 hours a day at my job where i can listen to whatever the heck i want, so i can listen to many, many books a week with audio books. for people who have to commute, they can listen while they drive. people can listen while they clean. people can listen while they do many other things, expanding their exposure to literature while being productive. this does not mean we are illiterate or do not like to read, it means we like books so much that we want them to fill as much of our day as possible. not to mention, the audio books which are done very well with multiple voice actors and good production are taken a step beyond literature and turned into a form of performance entertainment, and are very enjoyable. and, as a friendly suggestion to the admins... maybe you should have separate forums for people to talk about whatever they want, and limit the comments to just useful, relevant comments on the torrent being commented on. i'm sure you could get many competent volunteers to help "moderate" the comments and delete out the useless posts, myself included. |

i agree with some people who have posted... keep the content tv-only, with the occasional offshoot like made-for-tv movies or documentaries... one of the reason this site appealed to me so much is because of its unwaivering exclusivity of a single torrent category. i use demonoid for everything else i need, but when it comes to tv, i come here, even if i can get it on demonoid or some other site, because i always know i can count on eztv's standardized, quality tv torrents. lets keep it that way, and not pollute an awesome, focused site with non-tv material. if you're looking for a great place to post non-tv torrents, i suggest demonoid. i've been a member since the site opened and i'd be glad to send invite codes to a few torrent posters who want an account. just pm me. |

what amazes me most is what was the point? seriously, did you read the first thread? and if you did then how sad does that make you? how can you expect to walk into someones house and talk shit about their decorations? it's their house, they will decorate anyway that they see fit. for the record though, my day is slammed with work work and work joyous work. so it's nice for me to pop on an audiobook while i am working to help me through the day. yes reading the is much more enjoyable but for me personally and audiobook is a good way to effeciently maximize my time. i also like to listen to them while going for a walk or a jog or on long drives. hell, there is even an audiobook club here in l.a. thanks for the posts azriel. ever since bt-tv went down i was worried i would have to hunt through the masses on demonoid or other sites for my favorite tv shows but this site makes it so much easier and nicer. and the audiobooks rock. my favorite complaint of his was that the books were crappy. so he not only bitches about the type of torrent you post but then bashes the downloaders for their taste lol. and he has the nerve to say he is not offending anyone. awesome. |
