cookies?

can't the site remember my login? i mean it would be easy and quite simple.

or are we afraid of cookies?

hmm seems like an update to the site last night has caused it not remember
logins. i'll mention it to the person who made the update.

it's always remembered my login info just fine. if it wasn't working, as
azriel said.. probably just a temporary bug caused by the update. i'm guessing
you're new and as such.. are ignorant of the fact that it has worked fine
before. if you're not new.. well then you're just being an ass =p

i know i know. i disabled that feature yesterday, but time ran out and i was
unable to readd it before i had to sleep.
anyway, im going to try and get it reimplemented tonight. 🙂

if you log in now. you should stay logged in.
i also added options to save your css style sheet so that you don't need to
change for each time you come here.

sorry, didn't mean to be condescending, as it has never remembered my login to
my knowledge i didn't know it was a fault, just a missed feature. and some sites
do refrain from it as their owners/coders dislike cookies.

i wasn't being sarcastic and i just noticed i could write this reply without

heh, im almost afraid to say it. but the site forgot my login again 😉

i'm using firefox and it isn't remembering me at the moment.
just a heads up not a complaint (i know lots of stuff is being done to the site...)

it doesn't appear there for me, and there are definitely cookies stored on my
machine just found them - username, p/w, phpsessid. hardly the end of the world
anyway!

isn't this partly to do with the settings on your own computer? the first time
you ever tried to sign on it'll ask 'should i remember your username and
password?' (unless you've disabled that completely) if you clicked no, then its
not going to remember you each time you visit, is it.

i might have set the timeout values for the cookies a bit low, i don't remeber i
will have a look at it later. now i got more important things to do. just be
patient 🙂

hmm i use firefox as well, with cookies enabled and with no problems at many
other sites. and when you say "coaching" im guessing you mean firefox's own
password rememberer, that has nothing to do with cookies from the site and yes
it does remember it. when i enter the site my name and password are already
waiting for me, it's just the logging in part.

i'm sure it'll work soon, and until then, i'll live probably.
