can i use a tv-tuner on windows xp home edition?

(normally they're made for media center edition).

and please add a link to the tv-tuner you're using, if you're using one.

yes you can. but you have to make sure all your cards are the appropriate
ones. when you buy a tuner they usually provide software that allows you to
play/record tv shows. of course you have to hook it up either to a tv antenna
or a cable outlet.
