R.I.P Chris Benoit (1967 - 2007)

world wrestling entertainment was informed today by authorities in fayette
county, ga., that wwe superstar chris benoit, his wife, nancy, and his son
were found dead in their home. authorities are investigating, but no other
details are available at this time.

i'd just thought i'd start a thread where we extend our sincere condolences
and prayers to the benoit family and loved ones in this time of tragedy.

r.i.p chris, you will be truly missed.

authorites say that benoit killed his wife and son over the weekend. he then
shot himself on monday.

benoit also has 2 kids from a previous relationship.

i know they are saying they think he killed his wife and son but family was
always important to him. i don't think he could ever of done that.

dangerously smattering, but these kind of "extended suicides" are not that
seldom if there are strong feelings for the family...

man, i'm surprised that this is such a big story heh.

my friend.. he took a day off from work to mourn benoit. crazy.

i just hope he's in a better place now.

i don't really care if he killed them with or without a reason, i just know that
i loved his work in the ring (especially his sharpshooter and german suplexes)
and i'll remember him for those moments.

i'll always remember wrestlemania xx - i never expected him to take the
title and, as the streamers came down, eddie was standing there clapping... for
a moment like that, years of no talent, muscleheads becomes a little tolerable.

rip chris benoit.

you never know if his wife killed him first, and then their son and last her son.

i always liked chris, but fuck him if he did this. i don't understand these
people that have to kill everyone to fix their problems.

incidentally, if his wife and kid didn't believe.. they'll burn in hell too.

on another note, how was everyone's day! =)

keeping in mind i created this thread before all the evidence became
apparent. as with wwe inc. they dedicated a 3 hour show to the memory of
chris, which has now been taken down too, even his profile as been removed.
what really confused me is why he sent fellow co-workers a text message on his
deceased wifes phone.

as for jarlyboy\'s theory... the forensics etc. have shown that his wife was
killed first, his son about 24 hours later, and then he himself within another
24 hours.
