Critique "ReGenesis"?

i'm sure there's been talk about it before, in fact that's why i just got
season 1 of "regenesis" (...american, i). so being from the states i have not
heard, well much of anything about this show.

is it good? worth the time? not worth it? what are your opinions...

will i be addicted? how would you describe this show? i'm going to catch the
pilot tonight, and tell you all what i think so far. any opinions (no flaming)
appreciated!

it is good, it is well worth the time.

well. i saw the pilot. pretty good. i like that it's sort of serialized in
nature.

reminds me of a cross between "house" and "24" (at least the pilot).

as for american tv picking this up, it's definitly too strong of subject matter
for network primetime. i'm thinking a cable network like showtime or starz
should pick this up.

i'm definitely interested in the next episode. catch it later (maybe
after "the 4400" tonight).

definite agreement on regenesis. go back and grab the first couple of series
while you are at it - well worth it.

been following the show pretty closely)

does this show have a single season long story or is it a disease of the week
sort of show.

the first season did have a season long story, which didnt really become clear
untill thel later episodes as various things were understood more or revealed.
along the season though, there are shorter stories that cross say 2 episodes or
something, plus all the 'personal life' type stuff that affects the characters
daily or whatever. the usual love/encounters and so on.

i personally think its very well made indeed, its one of my favorites.

which is why im gagging to see what happens next. so no info on the next ep then ?

um. this being a torrent site, why talk dvd's?

... just to watch it i downloaded them 🙂 i used tvtorrents.com. (also saw a
torrent for it on demonoid) both great for
seasons, but hard to keep the required ratio up. i have 3 episodes left and i
will be done watching season 1.

just got season 2.

season 2 is out on dvd, but only in france (region 2). it's worth it.

yes, code 2, english language and alse dubbed in french (who wants that...?) 😉

i don't consider it freeloading. i watch them and erase them. i think
there's too much tv out there to collect it. at least that's me. i'm the
kind of guy who's happy enough with the 4:3... because i'm not keeping it.

don't know whether it has english subs or not, didn't buy yet cause amazon.fr
says picture is 4:3 instead of 16:9. annoying... yep, real strange this canadian
production is out in france but nowhere else. btw - season 1+2 where running on
french-german tv-station arte a couple of months ago. dubbed in french and
german. how stupid is this?!?!?!?!?
